Another consolidation run tonight, before dinner this time and felt more comfortable. I started my run keeper app at the beginning of the run so the 5 min walks were excluded. I ran 4.1k in 30 mins average pace 7.27. I will continue with this for a few more runs, not sure weather to try faster or run for longer to achieve 5k, I guess with how the plan has worked the answer would be to increase the time running gradually 🤔 .

Well done, it sounds like you are enjoying your consolidation runs 👍🏃♀️. You’re a little faster than me and I have the same thoughts. I think the idea is to increase distance gradually. For me, I think I *should* be running 4K consistently within 30 minutes before I make any changes, but on a good day it would be tempting to just go for it! 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️

I had the same debate. I did three weeks of 3 x 30 min runs, then fiddled around with the c25k+ podcasts, speed stamina and stepping stones. Have now settled on one 20 min quick, one 30 min, and one longer run adding 5 mins each week. Seems to be doing the trick!😀

I was in this position last week, though slightly slower than you. Feeling a little disheartened because I hadn't achieved 5K, then I remembered that this plan is all about building stamina. So I decided to keep running until I reached 5K. I've done it twice now in 38/39 minutes. It feels so good! 😄
