Welcome to the group, plenty of fluids, I found music when I run helps along with a healthy intake of bananas. Sure there will be loads of advice for you
May need to get the 2l water bottle back out then! As that is one thing I do let myself go on sometimes!๐ Luckily I LOVE bananas! So can't see that being a problem! Thank you for your advice! B x
Welcome and nice one!! My tip, which I still have to remind myself to do is slow and steady. Don't start too fast. I love this community and there are so many helpful patient and wonderful people here to ask advice from and get support from.
Thanks! Slow & steady, will definitely remene that, I've not run in years, need to remind myself when I first go out that I can't run like I used to!๐ Thanks so much for your advice. B x
I've found that they do. Been a habitual yoyo dieter for donkeys years and even with SW (which I find the best) still have periods of on/off/on/off. At the moment i'm losing and about half a stone away from target - this programme is really helping keep me on track and at week 5 I'm realising what a couch potato I'd become. Our SW group leader has lost 8st and has started C25K - she's a week ahead of me but using a treadmill - it's my plan to get her outdoors one of these days
I've been so on plan lately, really motivated so I figured now was the time to introduce running whilst in this frame of mind! Wow, so close to target! Good luck with that!! I have only been with the group 9 weeks so still a fair amount to go, but sooo determined!! Deffo get her outdoors, so much more of a wonderful way to run! B x
