Sounds better than Wk5R3 failed. I made it to 15 minutes and just had to stop, gasping for breath and feeling light-headed and a bit dizzy. Was our company meeting/night out on Friday, so i thought i'd recover on Saturday and run this morning. I guess i needed another day's recovery and a chance to hydrate more 😳.
Oh well.. Tuesday morning it is then for attempt #2 and will make a conscious effort to go a bit slower this time too. I'll get there.

You still did 15 minutes though😁 I've had a couple of write off runs along the way. It's a bit disappointing at the time but I reckon there's no point causing injuries if it doesn't feel right. Rest rehydrate and go again on Tuesday!
The one time I did have to abandon a run was a hydration issue - it really felt like running out of petrol! But a valuable lesson learned. Plenty of water on rest days and run days too! I post this all the time as I love this way of running - the Japanese slow jogging technique. But I do think it’s a valuable technique to learn as it can help complete a run in this heat, or if a run is just not feeling right or working out. And is also great for stamina building on longer runs post graduation. There are a few parts to this, and the short film is worth watching a few times to catch it all.
