Congratulations on graduating from C25K, well done, 38 minutes is not too slow, someone else ran that time as well, so did I on Friday, a sub 40 minute 5K is acceptable for a newcomer to the 5K distance. 😊 🏃 🎓 Onwards and upwards.
Fantastic, well done you! Welcome to the parkrun family! (Your new addiction 😎). That’s a great time, all parkrun wants is to create a regular habit with you. Hope you keep going back 🏃♀️👏👍
I plan to Madge. Loved the atmosphere. (Felt a bit lost initially but only cos I didn’t know what to do or where to go) - looking forward to getting to some other ones too. 👍🏻
Thank you! You will get there. I guess everyone has very different goals. Mine is definitely to improve on speed rather than distance at the moment. Keep going - it’s so worthwhile!
Congratulations and very well done to you for your great achievement. Doing your graduation run at a Parkrun is a great idea. What a perfect way to finish C25K.
I honestly didn’t think I could. In the 30 mins, I’ve only been doing 4.2k. Give it a go though - Parkrun makes it easier as you get cheered on along the way!
Go for it! Just remember, your legs can do it, your lungs can do it, the only thing that pushes against you is your mind - get past the bit where you think it’s bad & it gets better! 👍🏻
