Week 6 run 3 my first park run

W6R3 schedule consisted of 5min warm up and 30 mins running then 5 mins warm down. That looked to me to be a time fairly consistent with a 5k time so I took the plunge and signed up for the Poole Park run. It was very enjoyable I warmed up around cricket pitch then did 5k in 34:55 so it turns out I was right I came 601st but I felt like I had won my race looks like I will be doing more of them in the future.

It was a good flat course on disadvantage is as you go around the lake you can see how far ahead the leaders are though I found it a very positive experience.
