I was in my W9R1 and then playing tennis 2 weeks ago I got injured in my calf. It was just the muscle and now I can still feel it a bit but it is much better. My question is... after 2 or more weeks without running... it is ok to come back to the point I left it in week 9??
Thanks!

I too had an injury after run 1 week 9 which ended in shoulder surgery. I took almost 3 weeks off and was worried. I did week 7 but wasn't feeling I'd done very well so I did run 1 week 6. omg it was a brilliant feeling when I did it to know that I was fitter than I realised. so next run I did 28 mins which gave me the push to carry on the next time. I was worried I'd lost it but no it's still there. take it easy n maybe just a slow steady pace. just make sure you're fully healed first... maybe check with gp first?? good luck and well done x
Thanks! It took me a lot to get to this point and I was looking forward to finish the whole programme so I will rest a bit more, do some stretching and then I will try soon!
Here’s a low impact style of running you could try. I run this way all the time & love it. It’s the Japanese slow jogging technique. Even if you don’t want to run this way all the time it’s a great thing to have in your back pocket for post injury, or if you’re struggling with a run. There’s a few tricks to it, so you may need to watch the short film a couple of times. Hope it helps. m.youtube.com/watch?v=9L2b2...
