Well I made it to week 6 run 3 but the day after run 2 I developed a very sore Achilles which is still very troublesome over a week later. Never had this issue before so uncertain how long it will take to fix... and then how much fitness I will have lost in the meantime. Anyway... unable to even walk properly at the moment but keeping up general fitness with swimming and low impact gym activities *sigh *

Shame you have some pain at the moment , have you already seen a doctor. Hope you get better soon and can get back running. Good luck 😊

I would suggest a sports doctor or physio, painful to walk after a week should probably be checked out

I’m seeing my gp on Thursday as a first port of call in case it’s related to various underlying arthritis/inflammatory conditions I have. Didn’t feel any pain while running so hopefully it’s not a tear or anything.

Let us know how it goes? Hopefully just an inflammation or something easily fixable.
