I was very worried about week 5 but today I completed a very wet week 5 run 2. Ran for 8 minutes twice! I did what!!!!! He he he also yesterday I went for a very wet 3.4 mike walk and it felt good. What has happened to me?

Well done you - I also completed W5 R2 this morning Kaydenmummy.

I wasn't sure I would be able to do it at the first attempt but decided to just go for it as I could always repeat a run if necessary. The first 8 minute run went well and I found my recovery between the two runs was quicker than the 5 minutes allowed, so this was encouraging. The second 8 min run was a little more of a challenge and with 60 seconds left I had to really dig deep to keep going until the end.

All I can think about now is 20 minutes solid running next time...Eek! It's good to know there are others on the same journey as me. I love reading all the posts, it makes me feel part of a special club :)

Well I've been for a walk today and it will be 20 min run tomorrow. It is scary but I think if I can find a good cd on Spotify with some good music and dig deep I may be ok lol.
