Week 3, Run 1 - Potential Injury?

Hi,

So I started C25K with my dad (who has already graduated) a couple of weeks ago and am concerned with a pain that has developed.

During the second week, I started to feel pain around the inner part of my shin on both legs, but put it down to inexperience and new muscles being used.

However, after the run I have just completed at the beginning of Week 3, the pain has become worse and I can still feel it when walking around normally or sitting down.

I hope it isn't shin splints or even worse, a stress fracture, but I wondered if anyone has any ideas or any advice?

Thank you in advance!

Probably a good idea to go and get checked out..at this stage you need to be happy knowing what's going on.

A sports physio would be the best idea...

It us unlikely to be shin splints at this early stage...and the pain is continuing sitting and walking.. go get checked out:)
