Well that one seriously hurt tonight but felt good once I’d finished apart from my right shin hurting which I haven’t had in the previous 2 runs, onto week 2 on Thursday 😀

That's the hardest week out of the way, onwards and upwards

They really do get easier, week 3 was a break through for me.

I have learned that the nights I feel least like running are the ones I need it most. Last night ran off the stress and low mood from a difficult day and felt so much better for it, even though I also felt tired. Of course it does depend on what your work is but mine is desk work and meetings so not physically hard.

Mark, use your run after work to de stress yourself. Take it slow and steady and you will be fine. Good luck.
