I need some advice please. I have successfully finished week 6 run 2, after a few months away from the programme. Last week I was happily crawling along in the morning heat of 28 degrees in Crete but I was wearing a cotton t shirt. Here,in the uk,I’ve been wearing a so called wick away sport top ( it is black and a bit tighter )and now , afterwards I feel like I am going to completely melt and overheat!! Is it the top? Or is it me? Thank you!!

It’s probably the humidity. It’s certainly not the top, cotton isn’t a good choice for running in. Humidity is an issue, if it’s 100% then nothing can get the sweat off you. I always find 90F bearable on holiday but not in the UK.
When it’s hot it’s best to wear a technical running top / vest. I find lose fitting is better than tight tops.
It sounds more expensive than it is! I pick these up from Decathlon for around £4-£9.
Cotton will absorb your sweat and will get heavy and you’ll carry that weight around with you! Ugh!

Mountain Warehouse do great running vests, I bought a couple in the sale recently for about £5. Think they are called 'Endurance', cut nice and loose and they cover my tum.
