After the glitch with Sarah Millican not allowing me to do this week I switched to Michael Johnson. Never thought I’d be able to run the full 20 minutes. Well, I’m so pleased I did it, feels great πŸ˜„

Week 5 is the key to the program imho, it breaks that psychological barrier where your head keeps telling you, "you can't do this, you've only been running for 5 weeks, 20 minutes, what idiot thinks you can run for 20 minutes after only 5 weeks of much shorter runs?!"

Once you break that barrier the rest of the program is there for you to bound through, don't get me wrong, the following weeks can still be tough and the gremlins will still be there but you know you can do this now.

Congratulations, enjoy the grin you'll have all day long now.

Be careful though, week 6 run 1 & 2 are intervals and can throw people a little after the nice long slow and steady 20 minute run.

Likewise. I did my week 5 third run this morning and was pleasantly surprised that I managed it (urged by MJ too!)

That run really does make you feel so good and that you can run and can complete c25k . Well done 😊

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran πŸƒ 😊
