So after two really tough runs at the start of week 9, I thought I would change it up with an evening run today... In the middle of thunderstorms to finish C25k. π²
Surprisingly it all seemed to come together, my breathing settled, the temperature remained pleasant, and the rain stayed away. Made me feel so good that when Laura told me I was done, I kept running, ended up running an extra 6 mins today because I felt so good about having achieved this - I know in my head that I shouldn't, but it just felt nice so I threw caution to the wind.
So after 15 weeks, two knee injuries and an ankle injury, I've finally graduated. Considering how much I hated running in school, I cannot believe that I look forward to my next run...
Thanks to everyone who helped me through my injuries and answered my questions, and more importantly thank you to everyone who posted something, because reading other people's journeys helped me stay on mine.
Roll on Friday π although sad that won't have Laura with me anymore.
