My cardiovascular recovery is so improved that my left knee and hip are complaining, I’m not supposed to be able to go this far!! Birthday soon and being treated to gait analysis and proper running trainers. Just hoping that will help 🙏

Every single run making you stronger.. every week building up the legs... steady and slow as you go:)

Thank you. I’m loving this so much and feeling such positive benefits that the thought of an injury is a bit scary.

You will be fine... and there may be injuries... they happen.. even when we do everything by the book... all we can do is to try to be sensible and look after ourselves:)

Fantastic! We’ll want a bit of shoe porn on this site, so make sure we get a picture of the new trainers!😂🏃‍♀️

🤣🤣🤣 will do. I’m just loving the fact that at my age and build I’m salivating at the thought of running trainers for my birthday treat!!! 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️

Weird isn’t it! I’m 57 and 2 years ago I would’ve laughed in your face if you’d told me I’d have an entire drawer full of running gear and sneak more into the house whenever I see it. Then I did c25k! Luckily my other half is a triathlete so gets it!😂😂

Age is but a number. You are running yourself younger : )

And yes, we like shoe porn

Listen to Oldfloss she got me through C25K previously, the slow and steady mantra, apart from being her trademark, is the way to go, it WILL get you through the runs.

Just take your time and enjoy the runs and what it does to you body and especially your mind!
