Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Your aches sound as if they could be a postural issue. This guide to basic form may help. active.com/running/articles...

Enjoy your journey.

Tension is the usual culprit....check out the link from IannodaTruffe and try to relax into your runs... Shake out your shoulders and arms... unloosen your fists( imagine holding a packet of crisps in them... you mustn't crush them). Smile... and run... landing lightly as you go.

We do have a tendency to hold ourselves tightly at the beginning of this..concentration probably:)

To be honest I only got it on Wednesday and didn't realise it would be so solid still trying to get the hang of using it😉

I started using one at Pilates a few years ago. Even just lying on it is a great spine stretch and tension reliever. You will love it (eventually)
