Week 8, run 1 done!

I nearly didn't do W8R1, thinking that I'd just repeat a 25 minute run. But I'm glad I went ahead and did it as it means I'm one run closer. I've found having 2 days off in between, not just one, is helping me a little, and fits in around work and life a bit more so will carry on with that even though it means it'll take a bit longer to complete the whole thing (look at that positivity! I WILL complete it!) I've also found listening to a History Extra podcast works better than the radio for me (the audio from Laura kicks in better so I don't miss where I am) and perhaps takes my brain somewhere where I don't think about my rubbish breathing and extremely slow pace.

I love reading everyone else's posts: hope this might help a couple of folk too!

You're doing great and if 2 rest days between runs works for you keep at it good luck 😊

Well done! I bet you hardly even noticed those three extra minutes today. Onwards and upwards, enjoy the rest of Week 8.
