So, this evening I am planning run 2 of week 2! It might be another wet eve. I also have a parents meeting for my little girl leaving pre school. Hoping to fit it in after that ...the worst thing is running past people its so embarrasing. Im hoping after a few weeks i will get over the embarrasment.

Good plan, hope you get a weather window. I'm going to go out at lunchtime. Rain is a bit demotivating but once you're warmed up you don't notice it as much.. Yes, running feels self-conscious at the mo but I always think I don't give runners a second thought when I walk pass them, except for good on them for getting out! Enjoy your run later 😁

You’re embarrassed about running past people? I dare to dream of such a thing happening! But don’t worry about it , they probably don’t notice and you are RUNNING! And if you feel that they might be thinking about you huffing and puffing- well, who’s to say you haven’t just run 10 miles?! Good luck with Run 3 and keep posting!

Hope the parents evening goes well and yes, you will soon get over any embarrassment! Be proud and hold your head up high.

Please don’t worry what other people think - you are doing this for you not them 😊

Sometimes the hardest bit is just stepping out the door so well done :) I'm still very conscious of running past people who walking past, running, cycling, driving.. Just people in general really, lol. I struggle day to day anyway, so, yes, I get it and am also working on it :)
