Boy this week is sucking so far. I finished week 5 on a real high, I was completely buzzing after running for 20 minutes, and i didn't struggle though it either. But just completed w6r2 and it was so hard, r1 was the same.
Normally when i start running (after the warm up) the first 2/3 minutes are a bit of a struggle but then i normally settle and often end feeling happier running than walking. But not this week, legs just felt so heavy.
I managed to push through and finish though, hoping run 3 will be better. I don't listen ahead so no idea whats coming (please don't tell me)

The guys ahead of me in the programme are such an inspiration so I am sorry to you're having a tough week with the running. I hope you are happier with the next run.
I've just started week seven tonight and it wasn't easy but I managed to sprint for the final minute! I found week six difficult, awful actually and I started to doubt my abilities, but I'm stubborn and won't give in! Just keep plodding on, the mantra on here is "slow and steady" and it works! Good luck and happy running! You're doing amazing!
Hello! Seems from posts here that lots of people find the start of week 6 surprisingly hard - I certainly did. You wouldn't think going back to shorter intervals after a 20 min run would be so exhausting! It felt like I had breeze blocks instead of feet. No idea why this is, but it gets better and you are certainly not alone...
I've found this too. I'm doing W6R3 tomorrow but not looking forward to it after R1&R2. I had read the poll questions first & so wasn't surprised but was disappointed.
Same here. Ive found r1 and 2 this week tough. Going to try r3 tomorrow but am hoping its not a total slog... beginning to wonder if it was me who did the 20 mins last week... remember feeling elated so dont think I dreamt it, onwards and upwards, slow and steady... leopardstars if youve had a go already, hope it went well
