What a miserable day to run!!

I missed my run yesterday because I moved house and drove my motorbike down from Liverpool to Staines instead. Started my first day in my new job today and got home at 18:30 in pouring wind and rain so I was going to skip it and try tomorrow instead. However, after my very healthy but uninteresting dinner guilt got the better of me so I put my gear on and went out. week 6 run 2 completed 3.18km, pace 10.16, 32:40 minutes in pouring rain against a headwind. Not my best time or pace, but considering the conditions and the fact that I’m running somewhere I don’t know I’m feeling very pleased with myself. Especially considering that when I started this just over 6 weeks ago I struggled with 60 seconds in nice weather.

Kudos! I'm seriously impressed you've gone out in this weather. At least the run will have helped straighten out some kinks from yesterday's bike ride 🏍

Very best of luck in the new job. I started mine a month ago so understand it can be a bit weird to start with 👍

A big thumbs up in getting out in a new place in a rain storm ! That's dedication.

Good luck in your new job.

Wow, amazing effort, well done! I'm only on Week 2 and hope I have that kind of motivation in Week 6 😊
