I completed the week 9 3run on Tuesday and all planned for a grand post graduation run tonight, Thursday. Put all my running stuff ready for when I got home. I was thinking about my first solo run most of the day. I even bought a Runners World mag at lunch time instead of a sandwich. On the train home I fell asleep, missed my station and to cut a long story short, by the time I got home a run was the last thing on my mind. I now sit here telling this sorry tale and feeling very guilty, should I go out now, but it’s pouring with rain, Oh woe is me.
Oops! As you fell asleep on the way home, perhaps you should rest, have an early night and be raring to go tomorrow - hopefully in the dry. The main thing is not to beat yourself up about it but make sure you get out there and have fun at the earliest opportunity. Anyway you have a mag to read!
My w6r3 tomorrow. As it was pouring went to Aldi instead and bought the tights.
Thanks for the kind words AnnieW55 and yes you are right, I am going to have an early night.
Seems i read someone else bought some tights from Aldi this evening spooky!!!
Just as Annie has said cromwell you must have been very tired if you fell asleep so have an early night, tomorrow's another day and the pavements will still be there for you.
Never mind Cromwell -- look, six weeks in plaster has taught me one thing -- there is absolutely no rush. So, you fell asleep? You were obviously tired. To quote Oldgirl, the pavements are still there today! Good luck Cromwell !
