Just finished week one, exercising for the first time after having a baby

Blimey the third run was hard, I ached all over, but I do think I need some better running shoes (I bought cheap ones in case I quit after the first run...) any tips?

I’ve got a 4 year old, a 2 year old and a 7 month old so getting out and doing something alone feels like a real treat. Hope I keep my motivation, I’m 34 and have never managed to keep to an exercise regime. This is my first time doing this though so fingers crossed!

Wow, well done you finding any time at all in that hectic workload you must have at home.

You’ve made the hard step and got week 1 out of the way.

I think decent shoes make a huge difference and I noticed a huge difference when I invested in new trainers - I was positively bouncing along.

Good luck on your journey into running!

Thankyou. I get up ridiculously early to get it in before they wake up!

Well done you ! I didn't start, erroneously, getting me time until mine were much older. I should have done sport. I should have done something. Stick with it, you won't regret it.
