I started Couch to 5K in April, am taking it slow, had a false start when I knackered my calves while on week3 - cured by getting proper running shoes! Doing great now, did Week 5 Run 2 today - went well. Deciding whether to repeat or go for the 20 min W5R3 after my rest day tomorrow. I am working myself up to the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London in October, where I am running for the Royal Brompton Hospital (where my Op was done) Charity.
I had Aortic Valve Replacement Surgery in Feb.... - Couch to 5K
I had Aortic Valve Replacement Surgery in Feb. Now on Week 5 and about to do the scary run 3.
If you managed Week 5, Run 2 OK, then move on. You will be pleasantly surprised by how unscary it is when you are actually doing it. And you will feel like Superman afterwards!
Wow! What a hero! Run 3 is just another one. Don’t fret. The program prepares you fully for it. 😊
Not scary... splendid.... just take it slow and take it steady..it is a run that you are ready for Go you!!!
