This felt suspiciously easy. My strategy of going more slowly with a shorter pace is working well. I am also trying to run from the front of my feet rather than heel striking. It feels like I’m running flat-footedly but it is much easier on my feet afterwards. I also bought a new pair of shoes for road running as I am in the city today. They are Asics gt-express and are well cushioned.
