A morning of mistakes and lessons learned. First mistake was the ‘couple’ of gins last night, 2nd was sleeping in and not setting off till after 9 (the sun is out and it’s far too hot) the 3rd was not drinking enough water yesterday (only managed a litre before the gin😬) The end result was 20 mins of running before feeling faint and having to phone the hubby as I started to panic about passing out and not being found for hours🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️Luckily the hubs is quite calming and talked to me as I slowly crawled home! I’m now feeling very foolish and upset with myself for being so silly. I’ll be back out Wednesday to do my 2 miles I pledged to global running day, it just won’t be my graduation run as I’d planned.

You didn't fail, you still ran, just not as far as you intended 😊
Yes, 1 litre of water isn't enough to feel good when you are running, and it took me a very long time to really appreciate that.
Take your rest day and then repeat this run.
This time you will do it 😊👍

These things happen, enjoy running on Wednesday and plan a lovely route for it. We all need to be drinking more water now that the temperatures are rising, that's something I need to remember! Anyway, don't be disheartened, onwards and upwards!
