Because I so want to graduate in the daylight it meant I had to get out and run after work again this evening in the dark. Still I was accompanied by fireworks for much of the route so the view was at least entertaining.
Feeling good (even overtook several walking folk which was reassuring as I often think I'm running so slowly it might not count😂) ... now just need to plan where to complete that graduation run 😊 Who would ever have thought I'd be here?

Fantastic - just one run to go before the big podium push! Looking forward to hearing all about it Glad someone provided the fireworks for your run tonight.
Wow, you’re almost there! Brilliant stuff (especially accompanied with fireworks). Haha, I know what you mean about overtaking walkers - I also think that! Looking forward to hearing about your graduation run x
Sounds great. Almost tempted to run in the evening to watch some! Almost. Overtaking walkers is nice and embarrassing when they stop to let you go by and you take an age to catch up and go past.
My plan is all a bit mixed up in my head to be honest. But if I give myself a stiff talking to I will probably spend the rest of the year just doing the same week 9 run gradually improving. I am pretty slow normally around 9 mins per km. Not worried about the speed but I do think that if I push myself gradually harder my fitness levels will get better. At some point I want to do park runs but want to do more on my own for a few weeks first. The main thing is just to keep doing it!
Hmmm - I'm a bit worried about what comes next. Love running alone - like the head space and not at all competitive but have benefited from having a programme to follow - love a bit of a schedule.
Am currently looking at various running apps and how I can use them to motivate me.
Have never measured how far I run - though can see it's improved as I repeat some of the same routes. Maybe just trying to up the distance in the 30 mins is the way to go.
