Ran W7R1 this morning and that was my hardest run yet! My breathing was rubbish, my calves ached and my legs were heavy from about 10 minutes in, to about 18 minutes, but I kept going, completed the 25 minutes and then burst into full on sobbing tears, I think it was a mixture of relief and triumph!! Silly old duffer...

Oh well done you!! It is horrible when you hit a toxic 10 minutes, but you pushed through it and triumphed. Tears of relief I’m sure, but you should be proud because if a toxic 10 creeps in again you now know you can beat it. Enjoy a sense of achievement for the rest of the day, you deserve it. 😊
Not silly at all, I know that completing a coupe of runs has had me jumping up and down with happiness, one indeed had me twirling my sports bra around my head stripper style with a loud woo hoo as I got undressed for my shower...(I am a 49 year old mother of 3, not my normal behaviour).
Those tears were well earned, enjoy your moment !
Nothing silly about celebrating great achievements! Get the tissues ready for a fortnights time then! Well done you. Nanarurun You Rock!
My role model was Japanese Slow Running Man on YouTube. Same hair colour as me, so I copied speed and stance too, through graduation and right up to an eventual Park Run. Enjoy gentle running.
You don’t have to go fast! You just have to go!
Another fan for Prof. Tanaka. WooHoo! Silver Shufflers Rule!
A couple of minutes longer for a few more runs!
You’ve got this. Girl!
Enjoy your runs! Gently!
Another run hits the dust!! Apologies to Michael Jackson.
