Out early this morning, saw lots of other runners, lots of people walking their dogs - everyone ultra cheerful and friendly. After about 5 minutes I suddenly realised that for the first time I was in a steady rhythm, not struggling. I even tried changing my pace and stride lengths a bit as an experiment. Reached the end of the running period but as I was comfortable I decided to run through the cool down 5 minute walk as well: so 30 mins in total! Don't worry though, I had got my route all wrong again so I had an easy 20 minute walk back home ..... lovely route that started me near home in a place called Slaughters Wood in Luton.
W7R1 and I actually enjoyed it!: Out early this... - Couch to 5K

Lovely! So glad you're starting to enjoy it too x
David...was that you writing that post..๐ 'steady rythmn ', 'confortable', deciding to carry on and run through the warm down walk..๐๐๐ 30 minutes..
Very pleased for you..that sounds like a great run. Well done and I hope that you find that zone more and more from now on.
That looks like a super place to run too. xx
Maybe the corner is turned... Like Laura said "you are a runner now"

That is fantastic... and what an evocative run..just my kind of place...Slaughters Wood
Hope this happy running goes on, and on, and on
Well done - it's reassuring to know I could still be enjoying it all when I've reached the same point as you (starting Week3 on Monday!). It does help if you have inspirational places to run. I'm lucky to be near the countryside, plenty of wildlife when I'm out running. It's lovely. Keep up the good work!
Sounds gorgeous David, well done to you. All that perseverance is paying off.
Fabulous...nice name for the wood...I'd get a good pace on! We have murder lane here๐
