Wk 5 run 1 done, and I cried like a baby!

For some reason I was worried about run 1 today but went out in the wind and rain and ten minutes ago I did it! Then I promptly burst into tears and started thinking about my lovely Dad who died three years ago, and how proud he would be ( I was 22 stone when he died, now 12 stone), anyway I got over that and am now very happy and warm tucking into my porridge. Thank you everyone you have all spurred me on xx

  • As a dad who gets emotional(!) about how proud he is of his grown-up kids, I have absolutely no doubt that yours will be jumping for joy in Heaven, telling all his mates about how well you've done and will continue to do.

  • Thank you everyone you are all so kind, and yes he would be proud xxxx
