Have you set goals? Have you attached rewards to those goals? These things can help... I also like a plan and a schedule.
You can do this, and it’s pretty much just a case of dragging your butt out until the addiction kicks in. Maybe try a run/walk at parkrun... their support is amazing.
No I think this is something I will do as at first I didn’t want to set goals because I would be feel so bad when I didn’t achieve them, but am feeling even worse now as I’ve not done anything! Thanks for your support I will get over this wall!! 👍🏼
I always have 3 goals... one I can do soon, one mid term and a long term, I will probably do 10 of the first one for every one of the second and the third will need other goals setting to help me get there. You can do this... you can do anything...as you approach the wall you’ll see that it’s really pretty flimsy... I remember the scene in My Cousin Vinny when he describes a playing card as a brick... from one viewpoint it looks just as solid, but from the side it’s thin and obviously not solid. Your wall is made of playing cards, not bricks... when you get to that wall you can just run through it.

I agree with UnfitNoMore that setting little goals help you along the way.
Depending on how many runs you want to do a week - treat yourself to a little gift once a week when you have achieved them (flowers/beauty bits) doesn’t have to cost much. Find it helps if I keep a record of when I run too 🏃♀️(Diary/Strava/Garmin etc)
Onwards and upwards my lovely - get some great tunes ready and put those running shoes on ! 🏃♀️👍

Sounds great ! Hopefully you can get out tomorrow and you will feel great afterwards and keep a track so you can see how far you’ve come. Doesn’t matter if life etc gets in the way and you miss a run...next day is a new day !

JessyT. You just need to put your trainers on and get yourself out there. I know some days that’s hard but remind yourself why you are doing this. When can you next run? Tell us all when you plan to run and we will be looking out for you when you post on your return. 😊
Its routine for me. I set mine as every other day and I make it non negotiable. I have had every excuse and sometimes had to force myself to run at 10 at night because I couldn't face it but all of that was worth it and I love it now. In the words of Dory, just keep swimming (or running) x
Get out JessyT treat it as your time for yourself, it does wonders knowing no one nagging or demanding your time. My self I get out and run with Laura and my music 🎶 once or twice a week for anything from 30 to 60 mins and basically I just run and always near the end I talk and think of the good times with my mum.
