Hello I started doing Couch to 5k last year and was doing well and got as far as Run 2 week 6 back in September but then had to stop as needed surgery. I have now recovered and been given the 'ok' to start back but think I had better start from week 1 again as apart from anything else my fitness has completely gone!
Mentally I know I 'need' to start again as I am in remission and it really helps me get back 'control' however I am needing to find a bit of oomph to actually get 'out there' tomorrow again!

Well, you're here now so that's good! So, just dip your toe in the water by going for a walk if you like. You could take week 1 Run 1 with you if you like and give it a whirl
I've just been out and it was fine here. Not a breath of wind so that was helpful
Looking back on your previous posts you ask about Laura. Did you ever find her and use her as your coach. As you are starting fresh could you download the c25k podcasts with Laura and use those on an mp3 device? I think its much more reliable than the app.
If would feel fresh and different then and hopefully give you the motivation you need. Also keep posting on here, that helps a lot.
Good luck 😊 slow and steady...
You could try Strava on your phone to record your distance if you want when your runs get longer.
Good to see you back supermouse😊Its so hard getting back out there after you have been through a lot so gently does it!! I loved working with laura & used my own music. Good to start fresh at week 1 & take it slowly & i bet you will soon get your mojo back & you will be back out there 3 times a week before you know it!! Enjoy make tomorrow a fresh start😊& keep us all posted! 😊
You may find that you're not quite as back to the beginning as you think You may find it easier second time around as you know what to expect and you also know that you've cracked this before.
I had 8 months off due to injury and once I got back out there found I was motivated by my impatience to get back to the level I was before
Good luck with your health and with your running 😊
