Loving getting up and out really setting me up for the day ahead.

Completed week 4 run three. The positive for me today was the fact that as the run ended I was excited for the challenge of switching the running to walking ratio in week 5.

Definitely feel myself getting stronger, feeling fitter & mentally more positive

Have a great bank holiday weekend couch to 5k family 🏃‍♀️

I was just behind you this morning at 6.30, it's a lovely time of the day to run, really sets you up well for the rest of the day. Enjoy week 5 :)

It’s good to start early, isn’t it? Sets you up for the day. Not sure how this will work on the dark winter mornings though...

Agreed. I’m hoping it’s about forming habits, so when I get to winter it’s just feels like part of my routine #positivethinking

Thanks. Problem is that my route will be muddy/icy/dangerous.

Same, but dark.

Get a head torch and some hi vis.

Getting ready takes a bit longer, more layers and faffing.

I definitely prefer it🤩, cold and crisp!

I like it cold, too. But invisible slippery ice is no fun.

I don't know where you are located, but I didn't have to cancel any runs due to ice, this winter or last winter.

I even managed a run on fresh snow.

Of course it's sensible to do a quick risk assessment on the day ❄

The path I use gets icy, so I guess I need to find a better path!

Hello and well done. I was out at 6.30 this morning and love the freshness of the air. The sun is low so need sunglasses which steam up as I get warm! It does set you up for the day. I preferred it when the walking intervals stopped. You will love week 5 Run 3. That was my favourite up to then. I’ve just started week 8 and loving it. Well done and keep going!

Yup, I was in the early morning gang around 6.30 this morning too for w4R2. I just love this time of day and the way I feel for the rest of the day afterwards.

Go early mornings!!!🏃‍♀️
