W2R3 - 6am? There is no 6am.

Running can be such a mental game sometimes - I really was dreading getting up early this morning to get out there, totally psyched myself up last night about it. However I took the advice of laying out everything the night before so at 6am this morning I got up, got dressed, did some active stretching and headed out the door. I was halfway down the road before I realised that I'd done it all without any fuss. Without really thinking about it all. So there you go - it's all in the mind.

The run went okay, although I was a little fast out the gate which burned me out a bit but I made it through just fine and by the time I'd got home and had a hot shower and a cup of coffee I was feeling great. Onwards to week 3!

Well done, that’s brilliant. I can’t imagine getting up for that time. Only time I’m ever up before 7am is when I’m in considerable pain. That it the cat is practicing her ‘catwalk’ on me. That usually does it too
