So started in January and was really apprehensive. Repeated weeks to feel more comfy. Graduated on 2 May, was running for 30 minutes but not 5k. Gradually increased my running time and have run 5k 3 times this week. Not in 30 minutes more like 43 but I did it. Anything is possible 😀

That's great news. I seem to be stuck at 3.5k but I have great hopes! Inspiring.

You can do it. Take it slow and steady 😀just see if you feel you can go a bit faster at the end of every run and go for it 😬

Fabulous job, anything is probable!

Well done.... maybe take a peek at The What Next post too... Lots of consolidation is great to move us on... New routes, short routes. 30 minutes:) and lovely long slow runs.

It is those long slow relaxed runs which build everything up.. stamina, strength, running muscles and... distance and eventually speed.

Carry on enjoying, carry on posting for us and carry on running too:)

I've been working on distance but seem stuck at 3.5K in 30 mins too. But I love it and am so very happy with my progress - I'm just going to keep doing the 30 mins and see what happens.
