Week 3r3 First run for a week!

Feeling really pleased with myself. Last Friday was my last run, before coming down with a violent stomach bug, which left me feeling as weak as a kitten, experiencing frequent abdominal pains. Only returned to normal yesterday, and I was feeling rather apprehensive about today’s run. What made it worse, was that I’d forgotten to use my inhaler before setting out. D’oh!

However... taking it as slow as possible, I managed to complete the run, even sprinting for the last 19 seconds! My legs didn’t give way, but I was wheezing like an old accordion! 🤣

I will definitely move up to week 4 on Monday. It will be a challenge, but that’s what it’s all about!

Whoop whoop! 😃💪🤨

I was running late (no pun intended! 😂), that’s why I forgot my inhaler. If I don’t manage w4r1 on Monday, I’ll keep trying until I do. I’m not going backwards or standing still. 😊

Oh, well done for getting back up and at it after a rotten few days. Make sure you are feeling properly better before beginning Week 4. Don't worry about taking a few extra days to rest to build up your strength if you need to, it can make all the difference 😊.
