I finished week 1 this morning and want to check in with everyone to ask about my speeds..

1st run was Walking @ 5.5mph and running at 9mph

2nd run was Walking @ 6mph and running at 10.5mph

Todays run was Walking @ 7.5mph and running at 13mph..

Can anyone with experience/knowledge tell me if those speeds are OK or should I be pushing myself more?

Firstly well done 👍🏻 Don’t worry over times, focus on completing each session/week - everyone starts at a different pace, my partner is much quicker than me, but I look prettier when we’ve finished our runs 😂

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes advice on pacing.

Speeds are different for every runner.

Enjoy your journey.

Why worry about speed? What is your breathing like? Landing on correct part of foot? Arm movements?

Well done for getting to week two. Took me twice to do W1. I struggled!

Read Iannoda Truffes FAQ POSTS, every thing you never thought of yet is in there. Watch Japanese Slow Running Man on YouTube for speed and stance. I copied him ever since. W9R3 on Saturday. Run the distance, brisk walk is very important too. Enjoy it and have fun.

Breathing starts to get heavy at 2nd to last run but still rhythmic with foot and hand movement... had lower shin pain during the first 2 runs when slowing down to the recovery walk but that didn't happen today so let's hope...
