Just about to start at week 1. Never run before. Want to do this in a treadmill. What speeds should I use for running and walking? In KM please as it’s a Euro machine! 😂

It’s upto you Hun, you should still be able to hold a conversation whilst running. Everyone is different as long as it gets your heart pumping and a little out of breath by the end, do whatever you feel comfortable. If start off quite slow so you complete the whole stage then as you get further into the programme you can start to speed up, the programme is more about running for a sustained length of time than speed.

Ok... get on the treadmill and slowly start walking and upping the speed until you’re in brisk walk, the faster the better in many respects for the walking. When it comes to time to run, up the speed gradually until you can no longer walk... and that’s the best speed for you to be running it at... the slower the better for the running bit!

Hope this helps, anyone else’s numbers may not suit you. Enjoy your journey.
