A Short Reflection on Venturing out for the Second Run of Week Two

I went off to the sports shop and I purchased running breeks

I figured if I look the part, I’ll be flashing through the weeks

But as I left the house today the thought most in my mind

Was “does my bum look big in these?” for those approaching from behind 🤣🤣

Joking apart, completed second run after two rest days so our weekend guests wouldn’t know what I was up to.....dressing like a proper runner actually boosted my confidence. Anyone else found that?

Half the battle.. dress the part! I think we need photographs...!

Go you.... the brighter the better, the right clothes, do give us confidence... my latest acquisitions are a very sassy pair of 3/4 leggings... Bright Pink with a running Princess on... so unlike me that it is unbelievable:)

Glad you got your run in... slow and steady until you are ready to flash.... !

I too have embraced the bright pink - essential to be seen on the single track roads around the village!

I also think if you're wearing the right kit your less likely to get niggly issues! When I first started I wore a normal t-shirt and the seem constantly rubbed on my arm, drove me nuts! Now in a proper running top, no annoying seem :D
