First park run

Just completed my first park run. I may have been really slow, and right near the back but I did jog all the way and didn’t walk once. Feeling quite proud of myself and will keep up with the running this week. I will try to improve my speed a bit and have another go next week. 9 weeks ago I would never have dreamed I would be writing a post like this. 😄🏃🏻‍♀️👍🏻

Yay. Well done! I did my first today too. I followed the plan as I've not graduated yet and just ran the first 28 minutes (which was almost 4K). Then walked until we saw the finish and ran the rest! It was a great day! So many people I came 1112 in a time of 38:36!

Well done you.👏🏻 Must admit I found it really hard as done all my runs on a treadmill, but I gritted my teeth an kept going. Hasn’t put me off and will have another go next week. 😀

Wow. That's even more of an achievement! I've never run on a treadmill, love being outdoors! Will you do more outdoor runs now?

Possibly, just not very keen on running on my own outdoors. Even though I was on my own today it didn’t feel like it. We’ll see. 😀
