I REALLY didn’t want to run today, especially as my planned partner had to drop out. I contemplated not running, and knew I would feel bad mentally, so texted another runner to ask if they were going. They were! The minute I knew I wasn’t going to be alone, I felt so much better.
I smashed the first three minute run, but struggled for the last 60 seconds of the second one. However, I did it!
I have decided that whether or not Monday’s run is good, I will move up to week 4 on Wednesday. I’ve got this! 😁😃😍

Well done! I know how hard it is to not use an excuse not to run when it crops up so kudos to you for making sure you still went!
I have just done w4r1 this afternoon and i was dreading it as i felt so tired after the final run of week 3. I made myself have two days off and im so glad i did as i felt like my body was ready to take on the new challenge. With my music on (i love to sing!) the five minutes passed relatively fast. I wasn't expecting a second five minute run though......i was quite surprised when Jo announced that as I thought it was time for the cool down!!!!. I told myself to keep going for as long as possible and not to worry if I didn't last the full five minutes.....but i did! I'm sure you will be fine, I have every faith in you! It is really amazing how we are progressing! Let us know how you get on 😊
Well done! But why not go on a run alone? Sometimes when people let you down it impacts your own experience and enjoyment of the journey, don't give up because of others, this if for you xx
You have got this...and maybe..realise..YOU have got this...your runs...your legs..you running...You don't need other folk...this is YOU and YOU are awesome!!!
That is fine... I am just the opposite... but, know that you can do it, if you need to... and you are never alone...not with us lot running with you!!!
Just read the last bit of my HM report... and know that you are never running on your own..
Now that you are so close to completing C25K, would be great if you could tourist parkrun in Bakewell. A friend was cycling there in the beautiful Easter weather, and she told me about it. I wasn't aware of that location of the parkrun before.
Ah, great! Surely you are not alone. I also did w3r2 today. So we could have run simultaneously. I went at 7 pm. And you?
I hardly ever have company, I am talking about non-virtual company. I think it's fantastic to run with someone, a buddy is a huge lift. But you will see further down the line that it's difficult to harmonize your exercise with others' program or enthusiasm.
Sometimes it is discouraging and you stay at home but most of the time you still go because it helps so much to feel better.
I will ask the local running club if they do the C25K. Actually they take over our parkrun tomorrow, but I am not attending tomorrow. I wish them good job at the parkrun.
