Well I was due to make my Week 2 run 2 today and looked outside and it was raining! I hate even walking in the rain, let alone running. Well, I had to take my grand-daughter to school, so prepared to carry on after this. I did it! I have always hated running, and I am not yet at the enjoying stage, but I would say I endured it and got there. Soaking wet, but challenged!

Well done! Enjoy a nice long soak in a hot bath!
There's difference between walking in the rain (people get annoyed when get wet) and running. Running in the rain can be liberating, can bring the child in you, is fun and on a good day you will remember it forever. I can't remember the number of times l got drenched to the inner core and for as long as you make sure that your electrics (phone, etc) are covered, go for it!
I've got a 16K scheduled for today, the forecast is what it is so there's no way I'm walking home dry.
The only time you should think twice before running in the driving rain is when temperatures are dropping close to zero (although l did that too, and lived, but l also knew what to wear ).
Well done, I’ve always hated rain etc. As I started this programme last October I’ve run in all weathers. I actually found I absolutely love running in the rain. Let’s face it you can only get so wet 🤣🤣. I look forward to rain atm. I’m ill today so no running. Enjoy your running 🏃♀️🏃♀️
Well done on running in the rain! I’m not a great fan of running in the rain, but sometimes it must be done!
Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
