I’ve just completed week 5 run 3 and should be feeling on top of the world having run for 20 mins but I really didn’t enjoy the run at all. Maybe the wind, rain and the fact I had a buggy in tow didn’t help but normally I feel elated post run. I found this physically really, really hard. Would you go back and repeat the week to build strength or keep moving forwards?

Well done. You may not feel great at the minute but relax and look back at it. You did it, you went out and you did it. Then add in you did it with bad weather and a buggy. Keep going. Don't repeat the week onto the next. Trust the plan. You wont love every run you do. You possibly hate most of them but the key fact again is 'you done it''

I am sure you would have enjoyed the run better if the weather had been dry and not windy, never the best of runs when towing a buggy, anyway, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran, probably would be better to run it without the buggy in tow.

Good advice thank you - I’ve only done the last 3 with the buggy in tow but I think I will really enjoy the next run solo!

After saying that, many people at parkruns on a Saturday morning run a 5K pushing a buggy and with a dog as well, so who knows after you graduate you could run with your buggy at a parkrun.

I think you are amazing doing this with a buggy. Go girl go. Celebrate your achievement and good luck for week 6. Don’t go too fast 🏃‍♀️👏😀

Thank you!!! The only good thing about the buggy is it keeps me slow. But next one’s a solo run for sure

You just did week 5 run 3 WITH A BUGGY??? You should feel so so proud of yourself, honestly so much respect for you, not just doing the programme while you have young children, but actually doing it sometimes with a buggy. Well done you! 👏🏻
