Then this happened

Completed a 5k fun run with the granddaughter today 😊 at the start of my c25k journey I always saw this as my graduation run ... but with one thing and another this happened on wk9 r1 so still two more runs to graduation 😁 had planned on sticking to my run of warm up walk then run 30 mins then cool down walk, but all that went out the window when they blew the start horn ... off I trotted luckily had enough sense to take it slow ended up doing it in 42 minutes so a long way off doing 5k in 30 mins lol thank goodness no injuries to spoil my last two runs . It was a great event and all the marshals where very encouraging, it was different running with other people as I usually run solo but it’s now given me courage to do s park run 😁 anyway enough waffling the settee is calling.....

Yes I think you can , the natural rhythm of people around me spurred me on and shaved a few seconds off my pace time . I was conscious of not pushing to fast and causing injuries as I want to continue this fabulous journey 😁
