Hope your run went well...well done for starting...just keep going, its a great programme to follow and you wont regret it....warning though, it does become addictive.

It is very important though to follow the programme and do take your rest days in between runs....very important for prévention of injury and letting those muscles repair.

Well done for starting C25K and welcome to the forum!

C25K is a fantastic programme and it works. It alternates run days and rest days, which is really important in allowing your body to rest and prepare for the next run. It might seem insignificant in the early stages, especially if you coped with it comfortably, but it is planned that way for a reason.

Allow yourself time to rest and hopefully the storm will have passed by tomorrow and you’ll be running in sunshine! ☀️

Thanks everyone for your help and support, it's good to know you are looking out for each other. Run today went ok and actually enjoyed just being out side. Definitely not running tomorrow, back running on Monday.
