Ecstatic to say I’ve just finished !can hardly believe it had a glitch with my phone but ap did come on eventually I am so happy what a brilliant ap. I did this two years ago and had black ankles this time two years on no black ankles ! only changes are I’ve been doing yoga since October and I ve run with a change to my technique, which is to run on the balls of my feet more as suggested . Also this week I had a gait analysis done and wear wide fitting trainers at a longer length .just want to say people do not give up . Biggest challenge has been my self and that negative self talk . I must say as times goes by that is getting ignored and actually I’ve found I approach it with positive self talk and this is gradually outnumbering the negativity so mantras , music, spring around us has definitely helped and the support here .Thankyou take what you can from it you can and it’s betterthan just sitting on the couch even though I’m shuffling more than running !actually today did a respectable 4K good luck and many thanks for support.

Congratulations! My next run in run 3 of week 9, I am looking forward to being a graduate. I understand your negative self talk. When I started I would walk out the door believing there was no way I could do this particular run. That has changed to a big "you can do this" as I start every run. I anyone had asked me at the start if I thought I would be able to do this...I would have given a weak "maybe". But the confidence you gain as you complete the program is amazing. Again, congratulations on your success - I hope to join you as a graduate soon. I am looking forward to "Couch to 5K+".
