Graduated!

Well I graduated today! Was supposed to graduate on Friday but I was too lazy zzzzzzz. Struggled to keep motivated over Christmas and New Year but I'm back on it now. Last few runs have been really tough slogs but today's run was surprisingly almost comfortable! I'm absolutely amazed I've kept this up to be honest, I've found drive and determination I never knew I had! Big shout out to my big brother who motivated me to run whilst I watched him run his half marathons from the sidelines. Maybe next time I'll join him. Also humble apologies to my brother for taking the mickey out of his running over the years (I actually don't remember this but he assures me I did. .... he's had the last laugh now! ) One more 30 minute run on Wednesday, park run on Saturday then start bridge to 10k next week. Tentatively hoping to do the half marathon in September but one run at a time. Thanks for all the support guys and girls and all the newbies, I swear if I can do it, so can you! πŸ‘ŸπŸƒπŸ˜€ xx

Congratulations fellow runner.

We recommend that you consolidate at 5k/30 minutes for a week or two, just to get truly comfortable at that level before pushing on.

Keep running, keep smiling.

Yay! Go you!!!!! Congratulations and celebrations, I want the world to know that you're a runner now, tum ti tum, tweedly dee. It makes you want to sing doesn't it. Sing, dance, shout it from the rafters. You're a Graduate! Awesome. Onwards and upwards!

Take care, slow progression towards your next goal. This next bit is crucial. Take it slowly, please

Have fun !

Don't worry, there's not many people that take it slower than me and I don't mind repeating weeks if I feel I need to. πŸ˜€
