First hurdle already

Supposed to be doing my w1r2 tonight but my husband is now out late for an impromptu works meal. Surprisingly disappointing, I spose I could do it in my living room on the spot? Does anyone do that?

Oh no! Can’t you go when he’s home? I’m not doing w1r2 either as planned. Due to the fact I drank wine on a school night yesterday and I’ve been at work all day so I’m feeling rough!! Tomorrow and Sunday now is the plan 🙌🏼

Just back from my w1r2. Calf’s killed me but I actually pushed through. Did you manage to yours yet today? X

Well done for pushing through! I’m dreading my calves after the next one!

Oh no!! This is not what I want to hear. Dam it! Well just try and go as soon as he gets home? be ready to go out the door, 39 mins will be really quick. I feel your pain, I have two daughters 2 and 4. So ran as soon as I got home before I picked them up from private nursery x

You would not be the first to run on the spot.........but it doesn't work your leg muscles in quite the same way.

You could do it tomorrow and run 3 on Sunday. Not the end of the world

I was the same when I had to miss a planned run early on. Didn’t think I’d get hooked on running so quickly!!

What do you need your husband for?

Do you have to stay at home when he is away? E.g. to look after children?

We have an 18 month old so I can’t leave the house =[

That's was my first thought. 😃

Congratulations on your baby.

Think of investing in a nice buggy and off you go...

Many mums run that way. 🙋

Oh god no. He does not sit still. Ever. He’s climbed out of his prams from under his straps and bounced his head off the floor before we’ve managed to grab him 🤭

And god help us if we mess with his bedtime. Just because my husband isn’t here he’s been kicking off for almost an hour at bedtime.

But I’m watching Ru Paul Untucked so all is not lost!

Would running in the fresh air would not 'knock him out'? Just an idea.

Or is it unsafe to run without him?

Just seen this , hope the run went ok today - of course your husband now owes you big time doesn’t he?!

I bloody need to get out of the house though. My sons been seriously hard work today. As has one of my dogs and had a really awful engineer come to fix my washing machine. So I feel the urge to hurt something - may as well be my legs!
