Hi i just joined this forum. I started on monday and im going to do run 3 tonight. I really enjoy it when i get out there i just dont want to lose motivation. I like running in the dark (no one can see me) i used to be good at cross country as a child but havent properly run for 23ish years

Welcome and well done for starting this great life changing programme. Your cross country experience will stand you in good stead. Just take it slowly and steadily and keep posting here! By the time you finish the programme you won't worry about who sees you!

Thanks everyone, run 3 is completed. Am i better off just jogging slowly for the timebeing? There is no need to try and beat my precious time or get further around my circuit each time is there?

I'm a beginner like you Bra_1977. Best advice I was given was find your own pace and be comfortable with it. Jogging slowly is all you need to do until you feel able to up your pace a wee bit. Good luck with it. Steve

No need for speed! Just slow jog is all that's needed. The idea is to finish the task and then move on to the next

Have fun
