Bra!

Can anyone give me some sugestions regarding sports bras? I'm no Dolly Parton but would like something more comfortable and with more support than a normal bra and that doesn't cost the earth. The choices is huge but I'm not sure what I should be looking for.

Hi scram I brought one from M&S £20 front fastening from their sports selection, it’s designed for running so keeps everything in its place 😁 they have quite a wide selection.

I’m happy with my Decathlon one. It’s a pull over head and then fasten for extra support. Can’t remember how much it was but under £30 I’m sure

I like my decathlon one too....need to be a bit of a contortionist to get it on but it is super comfy on and keeps pinky and perky well in their place....was a bargain at €10

Berlei shock absorber run bras are good but not cheap.

I have a M & S one but getting it on and fastened is a workout in itself 😐

Bra buying is probably high on my list of things I hate most.......

I looked at a couple in m and s but couldn't work out how to get them on!

I used M&S underwired, high impact sports bras. They come in a two pack-one black and one white. You can cross the straps at the back if you want to. I find this gives even more support. I’m no Dolly either but they keep my D’s under control 😳

Thanks. I wasn't sure if the underwriting would rub but might give it a go

I have 3 extra impact front fastening ones from M&S. Last one was £25 but the other two were half price in sales. I’m a D cup and I don’t move in them. Easy to get on and off too. 😊

I've just bought a pack of two high impact bras from M&S (1 black, 1 white) I think they were £32 for the pair. Seem to work and are comfortable to put on and wear.

I’m an E and double up: I have cheapies from supermarket clothes sections/ matalan etc. I have a front zip fastener and then pull on a crop top type over. They do not move!! Blessed relief to take off, though 😂

Thanks. Getting the bras on sounds harder work than the run!

They can be a battle: especially to get off once you’re sweaty 😂 Nice.

I have a zip front M&S one too. It’s fab and really supportive but it really is so difficult to get on. It’s really a two person job 😂 When I need to replace it I will be looking for something different!

Have enough trouble getting up and out for my run. I don't fancy doing battle with a bra as well!

Hi, I’m a DD (I need a lot of support 😂)and have shock absorber bras £18.95 on Amazon at mo.

They are not underwired but I don’t move in it . This bra is also a bit of a mission to get in, I do it up without the straps up and then get myself in so to speak!!

Comfortable once on though!

USA pro from Sports Direct - I’m a 32G (I blame my dads mum)- it says medium support and my PT suggested it in a size smaller than normal (I’m in small) - it works a treat - everything held in place when running, spinning and other gym stuff— and reasonably priced - I got 2 4 £16...

I’ve got a front fastening Victoria Secrets one that I bought in a sale...the best i’ve ever owned. Couldn’t fasten the M&S one and can’t wrangle an over the head one!!

I’m on the M&S zip front ones as well. They are a bit fiddly to get on (lots of leaning forward and grabbing a handful as it were...!) but very comfy when running. The only thing is you need to try before you buy as they won’t necessarily the same size as your normal one. Why can’t the manufacturers standardise sizes! Grump grump...

Thanks. Buying a bra is more challenging than the running!

I wear an old everyday bra with a sports bra which didn't cost the earth :)

Whatever you decide, try on. I cannot understand why they use the same size description, but the salesperson says, "oh you need to size up, they run small!"

When you have just wrestled into the wrong size, you really don't want to go through the faff again.

Hi-I’ve been wearing the Sock Absorber Active Multi Sports bra for years and find it the best for minimising bounce. (I’m a 32F so quite big) I can’t bear the over the head ones, especially if it’s hot. This one has two fastenings and I do them up in the front and then swish it around if you know what I mean. It does tend to give you a kind of flat mono boob but it’s comfortable and supportive!

Hi, I’m with you, a 34G(!) and wear this bra, it’s the only one that holds it all together..!

I have an M&S zip one which is ok - once you can do it up. Much prefer the panache sport from bravissimo - unfortunately not cheap, but they do the fitting to ensure the correct size
