Fell a week after graduating

All was going so well, but I had a nasty fall whilst running last week, grazing both knees and chin. Slowly healing, but I have not been able to run again yet and the whole thing has knocked my confidence. Any advice out there?

Sorry to hear that. Looks sore. Confidence is a big thing and when your going avian you'll be flying. Personally I would walk the number of runs you do a week. Each one slowly eun for a small bit, walk a bit more then run a small bit. Each one you do you will feel more confidence. Possibly change your run slightly or don't go near we're you fell. Just until your up and going again. Good luck

Thanks for that. I will give it a go next week and see how I get on.

Not much else to do but just get back out there. I know how you feel, I think most runners have had a bad fall or three, ask misswobble .....

Thanks. I will start to walk/run next week and maybe look for an alternative route

If you are still OK to walk, keep the habit up of going out when you would plan to run. Keep the commitment going and you can run again when you feel ready.

Does that sound do-able?

5.05 km in 36.35 mins. Not bad for first run 😊🏃

Any advice? Yes, stay indoors with a glass of wine!

Seriously poor you, it shakes you up! Hoping you have a swift recovery. 👟👟👟
