W6R3 not quite there

I was so annoyed with myself today. I went out with the intention of sticking to it, but something happened at about 15 minutes that just stopped me to a walk. It was only about 20 seconds, but it was enough to interrupt my stride. I did carry on to the end, but I won't move on to week 7 until I crack this one. I know it's a mental block with the longer run, so I'll try a different route next time to see if that changes my perspective. I was struggling with 3 minutes running a few weeks ago, so I have to remember I'm capable of progress!

Moving on!

Hey RuthMargaret- well done for getting going again, lets remember the positives- we are all human and can have good and bad days- but clearly you are showing the determination you need to succeed- trust in the programme and yourself- you CAN do this.

Even the most experienced runners have unexplainable bad runs. Just consider that you've done one extra unplanned training run in the middle of your c25k. Keep it slow and steady, don't listen to those walking gremlind. You'll smash it next tme

I don't know why it happens but it does.

A few times each year during a run I simply...stop.

I've a suspicion it MIGHT be because I've more than usual irritations on my mind but I simply do not know.

It's worrisome in the early days but please try not to :) It's just a very temporary glitch in our imperfect bodies :)

Wishing you many happy miles in your future :)

Very few do the programme with full confidence in their running abilities :)

Yet - we make it, slowly and steadily 😊
